UAE: Abu Dhabi Unveils Golden Visa Scheme for Superyacht Owners

Abu Dhabi has launched the 'Golden Quay', a new initiative offering Golden Visas to superyacht owners to encourage investment and exploration of the emirate.

Developed by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and Yas Marina, the program aligns with the city’s Tourism Strategy 2030 and aims to attract high-net-worth individuals.

Benefits and Eligibility

Eligible private yacht owners with vessels 40 meters or longer, along with key executives in the yachting industry such as CEOs, major shareholders of yacht-building companies, yacht service providers, agents, and insurers, can be nominated for the 10-year UAE Golden Visa. Immediate family members of nominees are also included.

Through this initiative, yacht owners gain exclusive access to Abu Dhabi’s diverse investment opportunities. Yas Marina and ADIO will serve as the official nominating entities for the program.
