The UAE, through the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, has made notable strides across various sectors, emphasizing sustainable development and innovation.

These achievements highlight the country's commitment to enhancing society’s well-being while fostering environmental protection.

Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, credited these successes to a strategic vision that balances urban growth with environmental goals. He stressed the UAE's role in the global transition to clean energy, with a focus on fostering international cooperation and increasing investments in renewable solutions.

In energy, the UAE is making steady progress towards reducing its dependence on fossil fuels. The country plans to invest AED500 billion over the next 30 years to achieve climate neutrality. Currently, the UAE generates 6 GW of renewable energy and 5.6 GW from nuclear power.

In infrastructure, the UAE boasts nearly 3,000 federal buildings, including healthcare and educational facilities, with AED11.8 billion invested in projects from 2018 to 2023. The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme has issued over 90,000 housing decisions since 1999, including 13,000 decisions worth AED10 billion in the past three years.

The UAE's maritime sector also continues to shine, with the country set to host the World Maritime Day Parallel Event in 2025. The UAE has launched the Blue Pass Multimodal digital platform and actively participates in global maritime operations, positioning itself as a leader in logistics, ranking seventh globally in logistics performance and first in air transport infrastructure quality.

Additionally, the Ministry's Bureaucracy Zero Programme has significantly reduced governmental procedures, saving millions of hours and increasing customer satisfaction.
