Key initiatives include the "Unified UAE Numbers" project, which advances the nation’s statistical system for informed decision-making, and the "Young Government Leaders Programme 2024", aimed at empowering young leaders.
Economically, the "National Investment Strategy 2031" targets doubling foreign direct investment to AED2.2 trillion by 2031, while the "Plant the Emirates" programme focuses on sustainable agricultural development. The "Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme" streamlines employee residency and work permit processes, promising to save 62 million workdays annually.
Other major steps include the National Anti-Drugs Strategy (2024-2031), the National Youth Agenda 2031, and the "Blue Residency", a long-term visa for individuals excelling in environmental sustainability. The UAE also prioritised citizens with private sector experience for federal jobs and adopted a high-level science and technology policy addressing energy, cybersecurity, health, and manufacturing.
Additionally, the "Riyada" fund was launched with AED300 million to support entrepreneurial graduates, and the 2024-2027 National Strategy for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorism Financing reinforced the country’s commitment to tackling financial crimes. These initiatives collectively highlight the UAE’s dedication to progress, innovation, and global leadership.
