The UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office has partnered with Samsung Gulf Electronics to integrate the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) into the UAE AI Camp 2024.
This collaboration represents a significant step in promoting AI education among the UAE's youth and aligns with the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031.
The partnership will see Samsung’s globally recognized Innovation Campus program become a key part of the UAE AI Camp 2024, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of AI fundamentals, machine learning, and practical applications. This initiative underscores the importance of government-private sector partnerships in advancing technological progress and economic growth in the UAE.
Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the UAE’s AI Office, emphasized the collaboration's role in positioning the UAE as a global leader in AI.
DooHee Lee, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, highlighted Samsung’s commitment to empowering youth through education and technology, aiming to nurture the next generation of AI innovators.
The UAE AI Camp is the region’s leading event for AI education, offering a wide range of training sessions, workshops, and expert-led talks on topics such as virtual and augmented reality, data science, AI in various industries, and cybersecurity.
The integration of the Samsung Innovation Campus into the camp will provide participants with hands-on training and mentorship, preparing them for future careers in the tech industry. This partnership is expected to significantly enhance digital literacy and innovation among the UAE’s youth.
