The UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office has partnered with UiPath to launch the Automation Cloud on Microsoft Azure, strengthening the country’s position as a global hub for AI and automation.
Located in the UAE, the new cloud platform allows public and private sector organisations to manage infrastructure, applications, and data locally while meeting national data residency regulations. The move supports the nation’s vision to accelerate Agentic AI adoption under the UAE’s National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, said the UAE’s forward-looking approach sees innovation as the cornerstone of progress and a key driver of its digital transformation. He noted that partnerships like this one enhance the UAE’s readiness for the future and reinforce its global leadership in advanced technologies.
UiPath’s Automation Cloud is a cloud-based enterprise SaaS platform that enables organisations to manage automation workflows, AI agents, and data integration through a centralised system. It offers rapid deployment and scaling capabilities, allowing businesses to move from concept to production within days.
Ashraf El Zarka, UiPath Regional Vice President and Managing Director for MEA & Pakistan, highlighted that the UAE’s ambitious AI goals and tech-driven workforce make it a frontrunner in turning Agentic AI potential into measurable results.
