The UAE's Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office has released a comprehensive guide on generative AI, offering government bodies, businesses, developers and individuals a practical roadmap for integrating AI tools into their work.
Titled "Leading Generative AI Applications," the guide functions as a hands-on knowledge resource, spotlighting some of today's most impactful AI tools and how they can be applied in real-world settings. It covers 19 major use cases, including image and video creation, language translation and music composition.
The publication targets a broad audience — from government entities and private companies to students, entrepreneurs and AI enthusiasts — providing an accessible overview of how generative AI can reshape workflows and drive innovation across industries.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud, Director at the Office, said empowering people and institutions to harness emerging technologies is central to advancing government performance and strengthening the national economy's competitiveness. He added that the guide aims to deepen awareness of generative AI and demonstrate its transformative potential for organisations and individuals alike.
Beyond showcasing capabilities, the guide also includes best practices and recommendations for selecting the right tools for content creation and innovation, with an emphasis on responsible and effective use.
The initiative reflects the Office's broader push to keep pace with rapid technological change and accelerate AI adoption across sectors in line with the UAE's digital ambitions.
