UAE AI Office Partners with UiPath to Drive AI-Powered Automation in Governance
The UAE Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UiPath, a leading enterprise automation and AI company, to advance Agentic Automation.
This AI-driven approach aims to enhance government services and workforce capabilities while aligning with the UAE National Strategy for AI.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, and Daniel Dines, Founder and CEO of UiPath, signed the agreement, which focuses on creating AI-powered automation solutions and equipping UAE talent with advanced skills.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud, Director of the AI Office, emphasized the UAE’s commitment to fostering partnerships with private tech leaders to achieve its vision of becoming a global AI leader by 2031.
Zakaria Haltout, Area Vice President at UiPath, highlighted the UAE’s proactive approach to embracing AI, stating,
“We’re excited to empower government employees and graduates with valuable AI skills, furthering the UAE’s vision to create new economic, educational, and social opportunities.”
Key initiatives under the partnership include developing a training programme for 100 government employees and students, leveraging UiPath's Business Automation Platform. The collaboration will also upskill participants in Coders HQ, a National Programme for Coders initiative. Trainees will gain UiPath certifications, ensuring readiness for AI-driven roles.
Additionally, the partnership will explore pilot projects and workshops to demonstrate the benefits of AI automation, enhance operational efficiency, and improve public-facing services. Together, UiPath and the UAE government aim to position the nation at the forefront of AI innovation, driving transformative change in governance and society.
