In a bid to further enhance bilateral ties, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, met with Ebrahim bin Hasan Al Hawaj, Bahrain's Minister of Works, to discuss strengthening collaboration in infrastructure, transport, and climate action.

Held at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) headquarters in Abu Dhabi, the meeting highlighted the longstanding relationship between the UAE and Bahrain. Al Mazrouei emphasized the UAE’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Bahrain across various sectors, reflecting the nation’s leadership directives.

"The meeting with Bahrain's Minister of Works was a valuable opportunity to further promote collaboration in the next stage,"

Al Mazrouei said, noting the importance of sharing expertise to support Bahrain's infrastructure development.

Hassan Mohamed Al Mansoori, Undersecretary for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs at MoEI, extended a warm welcome to Minister Al Hawaj at the Ministry's headquarters in Dubai. The visit provided a platform to exchange best practices in planning and constructing infrastructure projects, federal roads, and efforts to streamline processes by reducing bureaucracy.

"The meetings are vital in identifying common priorities, sharing knowledge, and exploring collaborative opportunities that will accelerate our collective progress,"

Al Mansoori remarked.

Throughout the meeting, the Bahraini Minister was updated on MoEI's latest initiatives, including its asset management protocols, traffic safety measures, and ongoing projects, underscoring the UAE's commitment to supporting its regional neighbor’s growth and development.
