UAE and Indonesia Deepen Strategic Ties with New Agreements Across Key Sectors

In a significant step towards bolstering bilateral ties, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Indonesian President His Excellency Prabowo Subianto today at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

The leaders engaged in wide-ranging discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in vital sectors such as the economy, investment, renewable energy, sustainability, and infrastructure.

Held within the framework of the UAE–Indonesia strategic relationship and comprehensive economic partnership, the meeting underscored both nations’ commitment to shared development goals and long-term collaboration.

The talks were attended by a number of UAE dignitaries, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The two presidents also exchanged views on pressing regional and global developments, reiterating their shared dedication to promoting peace, stability, and diplomacy as foundations for global prosperity.

A highlight of President Subianto’s visit was the announcement of several new agreements and memoranda of understanding between the UAE and Indonesia. These agreements span a diverse range of fields, including the environment, food security, Islamic affairs, and security, reinforcing the dynamic and multi-dimensional nature of the partnership.

Also present at the meeting and the agreement signing were senior UAE officials and members of the Indonesian delegation, reflecting the high-level commitment from both sides.

The visit marks a new chapter in UAE–Indonesia relations, as both nations continue to expand their cooperation in line with their shared vision for sustainable growth and international collaboration.
