President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister of Mongolia, His Excellency Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene, held discussions in Abu Dhabi to bolster bilateral relations and explore avenues for collaboration across key sectors.
The meeting, hosted at Qasr Al Shati, marked the Mongolian Prime Minister’s working visit to the UAE, accompanied by a high-level delegation. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed extended a warm welcome and conveyed his greetings to the Mongolian President, His Excellency Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, wishing continued progress for Mongolia. The Prime Minister reciprocated by delivering President Ukhnaa’s best wishes for the UAE’s prosperity.
Talks centered on enhancing cooperation in trade, renewable energy, infrastructure, tourism, climate action, and other developmental areas. Both leaders emphasized the importance of international efforts to promote regional and global peace and stability.
His Highness highlighted the UAE’s progress in fostering UAE-Mongolia ties and underscored the significance of collaboration within international platforms like the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). The UAE holds dialogue partner status in the SCO, while Mongolia holds observer status.
Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene expressed appreciation for the UAE’s hospitality and reaffirmed Mongolia’s commitment to strengthening relations across various sectors, building on the progress achieved in recent years.
The meeting was attended by several senior UAE officials, including H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, and Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, alongside members of the Mongolian delegation.
The discussions underline the shared vision of the UAE and Mongolia to advance mutual interests and achieve sustainable development goals.
