The UAE Ministry of Finance recently hosted the first Strategic Financial Dialogue with Poland in Warsaw, aiming to strengthen cooperation in financial and economic sectors.
During the dialogue, both nations discussed advancements in financial markets and explored collaboration opportunities in renewable energy and banking.
Younis Haji Al Khoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, emphasized the importance of these dialogues in enhancing economic, trade, and development ties. He highlighted the UAE's efforts in diversifying its economy, with the non-oil sector contributing 75% to the GDP in 2023 and a projected growth rate of 6.2% by 2025.
Al Khoori also noted the UAE’s integration of technology and AI in financial workflows, aligning with its Artificial Intelligence Strategy. Presentations during the dialogue covered the UAE’s treasury bonds program, investment opportunities in Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, and the business environment in Dubai International Financial Centre.
The dialogue concluded with mutual expressions of gratitude and the hope for continued cooperation, with plans for the next meeting to be hosted in the UAE.
