UAE announces Arafat Day, Eid Al Adha holidays for federal government

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced the holiday schedule for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha for employees of the federal government. The holidays will commence on 9 Dhul Hijjah, corresponding to Saturday, June 15, and will continue until 12 Dhul Hijjah 1445 AH, corresponding to Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Work will resume on Wednesday, June 19.

This announcement was made through an official circular issued by FAHR to all ministries and federal entities. The circular follows the Cabinet Resolution regarding the approved public holidays calendar for 2024, applicable to both the public and private sectors.

In the spirit of this blessed occasion, FAHR extended its heartfelt congratulations to the leadership, government, and people of the UAE, as well as the resident communities and the broader Arab and Islamic countries.
