Ministry of Family:

- Focus on strengthening family cohesion, promoting positive values, and enhancing fertility rates among Emirati families.
- Responsible for:
- Policies and programs to support families and reduce risks of family breakdown.
- Marriage support services and grants.
- Parental training and work-life balance initiatives.
- Child welfare programs addressing psychological, educational, and health needs.
- Protection and integration of vulnerable groups, including people of determination, senior citizens, and orphans.
- Licensing and oversight of social care services and facilities.
Ministry of Community Empowerment:
- Led by Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrui.
- Focus on empowering communities through an integrated support system for low-income families and enhancing their quality of life.
- Responsible for:
- Social support programs to enable financial independence.
- Partnerships to provide training, employment, and tailored empowerment pathways.
- Regulation of non-profit organizations, ensuring alignment with national priorities.
- Licensing and oversight of donation-collecting entities and houses of worship for non-Muslims.
- Promotion of volunteer initiatives and social innovation to strengthen community cohesion.
New Governance Framework:
- The Education, Human Development, and Community Development Council, led by Abdullah bin Zayed and Mariam bint Mohamed, will align strategies for family and community empowerment with broader education and human development goals.
- Transitional plans will ensure uninterrupted services during the transition of roles to the new ministries.
