The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has officially declared the holiday for the 53rd Eid Al Etihad for employees of ministries and federal entities.
The two-day break will be observed on Monday, December 2nd, and Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024. Work will resume on Wednesday, December 4th.
This decision is in line with the UAE Cabinet's approved official holiday calendar for both the government and private sectors in 2024. FAHR issued a circular to all federal ministries and entities confirming the dates of the holiday.
In a statement, FAHR extended its heartfelt greetings to the leadership, government, and people of the UAE, wishing the nation continued progress and prosperity. The authority also prayed to Allah Almighty for further success and blessings for the UAE.
The Eid Al Etihad holiday, which celebrates the founding of the UAE, is a significant occasion for the country, and the two-day break offers employees time to celebrate with family and loved ones.
