The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has declared a paid holiday for all private sector employees in the UAE from Sunday, 30 March 2025, to Tuesday, 1 April 2025, in celebration of Eid Al Fitr.

MoHRE further stated that if Ramadan extends to 30 days, the holiday will be prolonged to Wednesday, 2 April 2025. This announcement aligns with the UAE’s commitment to recognizing Islamic occasions and ensuring a balanced work-life environment for employees.

Eid Al Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, is one of the most significant Islamic celebrations, observed with prayers, family gatherings, and charitable acts. The official holiday provides employees with an opportunity to celebrate the festive occasion with their loved ones.

The decision underscores the UAE’s efforts to uphold cultural traditions while supporting employee well-being in both public and private sectors.
