The UAE Cabinet has approved 3,567 housing decisions valued at AED2.546 billion for Emirati citizens in 2025, marking a significant step in the country’s ongoing efforts to support family stability and community development.
Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Cabinet endorsed the full package of housing support issued through the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme. The decisions cover a wide range of grants, government loans, and financing options designed to help citizens secure suitable homes across the country.

According to official data, the 2025 approvals include 524 grants provided by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan worth AED356.3 million. The programme also issued 623 government housing loans worth AED270.2 million and 32 government housing grants and benefits valued at AED25.4 million. The largest portion came from 2,388 housing financing decisions totaling AED1.894 billion.
The fourth quarter of 2025 contributed 599 of the total approvals, valued at AED478 million. These included two gracious grants from the UAE President worth AED1.3 million, along with 31 government housing loans worth AED25.2 million and eight grants and benefits valued at AED6.4 million. The bulk of the quarter’s support came through 558 financing decisions worth AED445.1 million.
The latest approvals reinforce the UAE’s commitment to enhancing quality of life for its citizens by expanding access to stable and affordable housing.
