The UAE's Cyber Security Council has issued an urgent alert for Microsoft users, advising them to update their devices to mitigate over 100 identified vulnerabilities. This follows Microsoft's release of 139 security updates spanning various products, including Windows, Office, .NET, and Azure.
The council highlighted that some of these vulnerabilities were critical and had been actively exploited. Users are encouraged to promptly apply these updates to safeguard their systems.
Last week, a similar alert was issued for Samsung users following the release of security updates addressing vulnerabilities in flagship models. These updates include patches from Google's Android Security Bulletin July 2024 and additional fixes from Samsung, aiming to prevent unauthorized access and data theft.
