The UAE Government Leaders Programme has launched a strategic partnership with Airbus Beyond during the Dubai Airshow 2025, setting the stage for a new phase of leadership development and global knowledge exchange for national cadres.
The collaboration aims to upgrade the government leadership development system by tapping into Airbus’s expertise in designing advanced training programmes. Both sides intend to prepare future-ready leaders who can navigate emerging global shifts and strengthen the UAE’s position in government excellence.
The agreement was signed by Mohamed Yousef Al Sharhan, Director of the Government Leaders and Talents Department at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, and Adam McGonigal, CEO of Airbus Beyond.
Al Sharhan said the partnership supports the UAE GLP’s goal of building a strong network of global collaborations that enhance the capabilities of government leaders. He noted that access to international best practices will help equip leaders with the skills needed to drive positive change across the government ecosystem.
He added that working with Airbus Beyond will give UAE leaders opportunities to engage with influential figures in the aviation sector and benefit from innovative leadership models that support efficiency and excellence in government work.
McGonigal said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to empowering high-potential individuals. He highlighted Airbus’s belief that strong leadership development is essential for innovation and navigating an increasingly complex world.
The partnership will allow UAE government leaders to join Airbus’s flagship leadership events, including the Leadership Forum, and take part in specialised programmes that offer learning, development, and global networking.
It also includes hosting Airbus leaders as speakers at major UAE government events, contributing to leadership sessions and panel discussions designed to inspire the next generation of national leaders.
