The UAE Government Media Office has launched a new edition of the “Specialised Content Creator” Programme in collaboration with the New Media Academy, aiming to build a new generation of national talent skilled in digital content creation across key sectors.
The initiative, inaugurated in the presence of Saeed Al Eter, Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, brings together 50 participants from government and private entities. Running from 13th to 30th October at Emirates Towers in Dubai, the programme focuses on developing professionals capable of producing credible, sector-specific content in areas such as the economy, healthcare, legislation, and food security.
According to Khadija Hussain, Executive Director of Government Communication at the UAE Government Media Office, the programme supports a strategic goal to enhance the digital communication capabilities of professionals and empower them to create accurate, engaging, and responsible content.
Hussein Al Atoli, Director of the New Media Academy, said the latest edition builds on the success of previous cohorts, providing participants with theoretical and practical training to master digital storytelling and adopt global media standards.
The curriculum includes workshops and lectures led by local and international experts, covering creative storytelling, digital filming and editing, AI tools in content production, and audience engagement strategies. The goal is to help participants translate their expertise into accessible, trustworthy content that promotes public awareness and combats misinformation.
By nurturing skilled digital communicators, the programme underscores the UAE’s commitment to advancing professional content creation and strengthening public trust in national institutions.
