The UAE Government Media Office has announced the launch of a new edition of the “Specialised content creator programme” in partnership with the New Media Academy, aimed at equipping professionals with advanced skills to produce accurate and credible content across vital sectors.
Open for registration until 25 September, the three-week programme will train participants from government entities and the private sector in areas including economy and business, law, healthcare, agriculture, and food security. Sessions will be held at the New Media Academy in Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai.
Khadija Hussein, Executive Director of Government Communication at the UAE Government Media Office, highlighted the programme’s role in combating misinformation. She stressed the importance of ensuring accuracy and credibility in an era dominated by fast-moving digital platforms.
The initiative is designed to help technical experts and field practitioners translate their professional knowledge into clear, trusted communication. Training will cover storytelling, message design, scriptwriting, digital production, and the use of creative AI tools.
Organisers emphasised that building a strong foundation of evidence-based content is essential for maintaining public trust and countering the spread of rumours. By empowering professionals to create specialised, knowledge-driven content, the programme seeks to reinforce institutional presence and strengthen engagement with diverse audiences.
