Hotels across the UAE are reporting a surge in bookings for Eid Al Fitr 2025, with many properties already reaching confirmed 100% occupancy as residents and tourists take advantage of extended breaks and pleasant weather.

Residents are expected to enjoy a five-day holiday from March 29 to April 2, while Sharjah’s public sector employees may benefit from a six-day break starting March 28.

Booking.com data as of March 26 revealed that 77% of accommodations in Dubai were already unavailable for the Eid period. Occupancy is expected to hit full capacity in popular destinations such as Downtown Dubai and Palm Jumeirah.

According to Abdulla Al Abdulla, COO and GM of Central Hotels and Resorts, hotel occupancy is already over 80%, with Eid reaching full capacity. He credits strategic marketing, online travel agency partnerships, and up to 45% discounts for the high demand.

Data from Wego, an online travel marketplace, indicates a 54% year-on-year drop in average hotel rates during Ramadan, which has driven a 3% rise in local staycation searches. Most bookings are for 4-star hotels, reflecting a preference for value and quality.

Iftikhar Hamdani, GM of Bahi Ajman Palace and Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, reports 95% current bookings, expecting to close Eid and the following week at 100% occupancy. He notes a strong domestic response, with rooms fully booked shortly after launch.

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi confirmed high staycation demand, particularly among families seeking a luxurious Eid experience.

Thomas Kurian, Hotel Manager at Leva Hotels, highlighted how Eid coincides with ideal weather, global spring breaks, and the first long holiday of the year, driving demand from both UAE residents and international markets such as the UK, Italy, Germany, and Spain. Leva Hotels projects 85–90% occupancy, with strong last-minute bookings expected.

With demand outpacing supply across many hotels, this Eid holiday is shaping up to be a record-setting period for the UAE’s hospitality sector.
