Here's a comprehensive guide on how UAE residents can apply for a South Korean tourist visa, including the required documents and the application process.

Required Documents

  1. Visa Application Form: Available on the South Korean visa portal ( Fill out the form online, submit the necessary documents, and keep a hard copy.
  2. Original Passport and Copy: The passport must be valid for at least six months from the travel date.
  3. UAE Residence Visa Copy: This should also be valid for six months from the travel date. Applicants with a virtual visa stamp should have both soft and printed copies. Visa holders from Al Ain and Abu Dhabi must apply through the embassy in Abu Dhabi.
  4. Emirates ID and Copy: Provide both the original Emirates ID and a copy.
  5. Proof of Previous Residence: Nationals from specific countries (e.g., Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, etc.) must provide proof of residing in the UAE for the past two years through previous visas.
  6. Original Bank Statement: This must cover the last three months before applying and include a bank stamp. The statement should be issued within two weeks of traveling. If financially supported, include a letter of financial support, the sponsor's passport copy, and proof of relationship.
  7. No Objection Letter: This letter from the sponsor must state the purpose of the visit and include the applicant’s full name, passport number, nationality, position, and salary.
