The UAE’s industrial exports surged to a record AED262 billion in 2025, marking a 25 percent increase from 2024 and more than doubling since the establishment of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in 2020, underscoring the country’s accelerating transformation into a global industrial and manufacturing powerhouse.
Exports from medium- and high-technology industries reached AED92 billion, achieving 42 percent year-on-year growth and exceeding the AED90 billion target set for 2031 six years ahead of schedule. The milestone reflects the UAE’s rapid shift toward advanced manufacturing and higher value-added production.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, said the strength of any competitive economy rests on a strong industrial base, expressing pride in the national industrial performance and noting that the UAE now leads the region in industrial exports, including AED90 billion in advanced technologies.
He added that the UAE’s industrial success is driven by close integration between government policy and the private sector, supported by robust digital infrastructure and a solid financial and banking system, with expectations of even stronger figures in 2026.
Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, said industrial exports have grown 100 percent since the Ministry’s launch, crediting the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology and the “Make it in the Emirates” initiative for strengthening competitiveness, expanding exports, and attracting high-quality industrial investment.
Officials said continued regulatory modernisation, supply chain integration, and the National In-Country Value Programme are reinforcing investor confidence, boosting local production, and positioning the UAE as a trusted global hub for advanced and future industries.
