The UAE will join thousands of members of the Syrian community in Dubai on 22 November for a major cultural celebration that highlights the deep historical and social ties between the two nations.
The event will take place at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai and is expected to draw around 20,000 attendees. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, will attend alongside senior diplomats and prominent Syrian economic and social figures.
Organised by the Emirates Loves Syria initiative in collaboration with the Syrian community, the celebration aims to honour longstanding relations and strengthen bonds of friendship. The programme features cultural performances, musical shows, traditional arts and dialogue sessions that spotlight Syrian heritage and its contributions to the UAE’s development.
The gathering reflects the growing cooperation between the UAE and Syria across economic, commercial, investment and cultural fields. It also reinforces the UAE’s wider commitment to promoting tolerance, coexistence and cultural openness among all communities.
Visitors will experience a diverse lineup of artistic performances, folk dances, traditional maqam recitals and family-focused shows. Exhibitions will showcase handicrafts, creative products and culinary offerings from various Syrian cities, offering a rich window into the country’s identity and history.
The event will include an honouring ceremony for distinguished achievers from the Syrian community. MAG Group has joined as a strategic partner, while Sankari Group has signed on as a partner, underscoring shared support for humanitarian initiatives and community development.
Both countries continue to advance cooperation in vital sectors, with growing focus on investment, development and opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises that drive economic growth.
