A groundbreaking educational model is being launched across UAE schools to support students of determination and those with invisible disabilities.

The platform, SPEEDY LABS, integrates cutting-edge AI technology to provide personalized learning experiences, focusing on students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and other developmental needs.

SPEEDY LABS aligns with the UAE’s educational regulations, including the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), and the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA). The platform’s goal is to identify issues early, intervene promptly, and deliver customized learning solutions, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.

Developed by Knowledge Hub, in partnership with SpEd@school, the initiative has launched a pilot program in Dubai Caramel School and Maplewood Canadian International School.

“The pilot allows us to test the platform in real classroom environments, ensuring its effectiveness for students, educators, and families,”

said Surekha Kembhavi, Founder of Knowledge Hub.

The platform’s AI-driven system offers real-time feedback, enabling students to monitor their progress and stay engaged through gamified learning tools. Parents can access detailed reports on their child’s academic and cognitive development, empowering them to support learning at home.

Experts note the transformative potential of AI in education. Dr. Bino Mary Chacko, Psychiatrist at Medeor Hospital, emphasized how AI could identify invisible disabilities early, enabling timely interventions.

“AI systems tailor interventions to each child’s unique needs, bridging the gap where traditional teaching methods may struggle,”

added Dr. Chacko.

This innovative initiative marks a significant step toward ensuring equitable educational opportunities for all students in the UAE.
