UAE-Malaysia Business Council Strengthens Bilateral Ties
Abu Dhabi hosted the second meeting of the UAE-Malaysia Business Council yesterday, coinciding with the visit of Malaysia’s Prime Minister to the UAE.
The meeting was co-chaired by Essa Abdullah Al Ghurair, Chairman of Essa Al Ghurair Investment Group, representing the UAE, and Aimy Zairin Mohamed of Malaysia’s Petronas. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration between the two nations.
Al Ghurair underscored the UAE private sector's dedication to fostering bilateral cooperation, praising the robust UAE-Malaysia relationship. He emphasized the pivotal role of the Business Council in elevating ties to new levels, aligning with the aspirations of business communities in both countries.
“This partnership will help build long-term collaborations across vital sectors of mutual interest,”
he noted.
The meeting also saw the participation of Ahmed Juma Al Kaabi, Assistant Secretary-General of the UAE Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), along with council members from both nations. Discussions centered on strengthening economic ties and exploring new opportunities for mutual growth.
The UAE-Malaysia Business Council continues to serve as a vital platform for fostering dialogue, expanding investment opportunities, and building partnerships between the two countries. The meeting marks another milestone in advancing bilateral relations, reflecting the shared vision for a prosperous future.
