The UAE Media Council has launched “Amen,” a new digital platform that enables the public to monitor and share feedback on media content across the country, reinforcing community participation in shaping a responsible and ethical media environment.
The initiative positions society as a key partner in safeguarding the integrity of the UAE’s media landscape and preserving its cultural and national values. Through Amen, citizens and residents can contribute to maintaining a balanced, credible, and constructive flow of information that supports the nation’s development goals.

Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Office and the UAE Media Council, highlighted the leadership’s commitment to placing individuals and communities at the heart of progress. He said that media plays a vital role in reflecting national identity, nurturing creativity, and strengthening the UAE’s regional and global presence.
“Content is a responsibility,”
Al Hamed said, emphasizing that what is published should uplift society, promote awareness, and express the country’s values and humanity.
Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, Secretary-General of the UAE Media Council, noted that Amen aligns with the objectives of the Year of Community, declared by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He added that the platform serves as an interactive communication channel for the public to help ensure media content aligns with societal standards and national values.
