UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs Highlights Support for Emirati Students in Australia

Dr Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, underscored the significance of engaging with Emirati students studying abroad and introducing initiatives to enhance their skills during a session titled “Emirati Students in Australia.

Organised by the Federal Youth Authority in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in Sydney, the event attracted over 120 participants, including scholarship students.

Dr. Al Neyadi and Dr. Fahad Al Taffaq, UAE Ambassador to Australia, attended the session, which focused on developing training programs to help Emirati students adapt to cultural and social life overseas. Discussions included organizing social events for experience sharing, holding guidance sessions on academic paths, and fostering innovation through competitions and debates.

An interactive electronic platform was also introduced to aid graduate students in guiding new students for better integration into society. Dr. Al Neyadi emphasized the leadership's directives to listen to the youth and empower them in decision-making, crucial for sustainable development. He highlighted the session's role in providing a platform for students to share suggestions and ambitions, ensuring comprehensive support for their educational journey.

Dr. Al Taffaq remarked on the forum's value in addressing challenges faced by scholarship students abroad and bringing together UAE youth living overseas. Topics discussed included education, environment and climate change, the future of artificial intelligence, and global empowerment of Emirati youth, aiming to leverage opportunities provided by the UAE for the nation's development goals.
