The UAE Pavilion has officially announced its participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, which will commence in April 2025 under the theme "Designing Future Society for Our Lives."
The announcement was made during a groundbreaking ceremony at the UAE Pavilion's plot on Yumeshima Island, attended by Shihab Al Faheem, Ambassador of the UAE to Japan, along with Expo organizers and high-level officials.
Noura Al Kaabi, UAE Minister of State, emphasized the significance of this event, stating,
"We are honored to mark this occasion at Expo 2025 Osaka, where nations will collaborate on solutions to global challenges. The UAE remains committed to shaping a sustainable future for generations to come."
Expo 2025 Osaka will address critical global challenges through sub-themes: "Saving Lives," "Empowering Lives," and "Connecting Lives." The UAE Pavilion will focus on "Empowering Lives," showcasing the nation's advancements in healthcare, space exploration, and sustainable technologies.
Located in the "Empowering Lives" zone near the Japan Pavilion, the UAE Pavilion will be one of the largest country pavilions at the Expo. Shihab Al Faheem highlighted the UAE's long-standing relationship with Japan, stating,
"Our diplomatic relations have fostered significant industrial, cultural, and economic exchange. We are honored to participate in the next World Expo in Osaka, continuing the spirit of global collaboration."
The UAE Pavilion will offer diverse programming for visitors of all ages, facilitating connections among diplomats, innovators, researchers, and business leaders. Through interactive exhibits and engaging workshops, the pavilion aims to inspire meaningful exchanges and highlight the UAE's commitment to innovation, education, and global collaboration.
