The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has achieved a remarkable milestone, welcoming its 250,000th visitor just over two weeks after its grand opening.
This milestone underscores the Pavilion's powerful impact and its ability to captivate audiences from around the globe.
A special ceremony marked the occasion, where the 250,000th guest and her family were honored by Shihab Al Faheem, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE Embassy to Japan and Commissioner General of the UAE Pavilion. The family received a commemorative certificate, exclusive gifts, and a complimentary meal at the Pavilion’s renowned Emirati restaurant.
“This milestone reflects the Pavilion’s role as a platform for dialogue, discovery, and collaboration,”
said Al Faheem.
“We are proud to share the UAE’s story with the people of Japan and the world, as we work towards a sustainable and flourishing future.”
Guided by the theme “Earth to Ether,” the Pavilion offers a multisensory experience that highlights the UAE's cultural heritage and modern advancements in space exploration, healthcare, and sustainability. Its striking design, inspired by the UAE's date palm tree, features 90 soaring columns crafted using sustainable methods and Japanese craftsmanship.
Inside, visitors are immersed in the UAE’s transformation, meeting innovators shaping the country’s future. The experience culminates in "Woven Legacies," a documentary showcasing contemporary life in the UAE.
The Pavilion's strong visitor turnout reflects its growing reputation as one of Expo 2025 Osaka’s most engaging attractions, drawing global attention to the UAE’s dynamic role on the world stage.
