The UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, reinforcing cooperation in integrity and anti-corruption efforts.
The agreement was formalised during the official visit of Russian Prosecutor-General Igor Krasnov to the UAE. It was signed by UAEAA President Humaid Obaid Abushibs and Krasnov at the authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The MoU aims to strengthen bilateral collaboration by exchanging expertise, building institutional capacities, and expanding joint participation in international forums that promote transparency and accountability. It also supports the broader strategic partnership between the UAE and Russia.
In a statement, the UAEAA highlighted that the move aligns with the UAE’s national strategy and reflects its leadership’s commitment to transparency and good governance. The authority also underscored the value of learning from global best practices, including Russia’s experience in anti-corruption initiatives.
The signing marks a significant step in fostering international cooperation and advancing a shared vision of integrity-focused governance.
