In a bid to encourage learning and exploration among Dubai's youth, the Dubai Crocodile Park has announced free admission for children up to 11 years old during July and August.

This initiative coincides with the summer break, allowing families to experience the park's wonders without the usual ticket costs.

The park, renowned for its conservation efforts and educational programs, aims to inspire young minds during the school holidays.

"Dubai Crocodile Park is passionate about inspiring the young minds of Dubai and is offering free admission to children during the July and August holidays,"

the park stated in a recent announcement.

Typically, tickets to the park are priced at Dh95 for adults and Dh75 for children throughout the year. Children aged up to 3 years enjoy free admission year-round, making it a family-friendly destination for all ages.

Crocodiles, known as one of the oldest creatures on Earth, play a crucial role in ecosystems but face significant threats such as poaching and habitat loss. Conservation efforts at Dubai Crocodile Park include an annual nesting season, where experts carefully monitor and protect nests of Nile Crocodiles. This season, which began in May, is a critical period when female crocodiles lay their eggs under the park's supervision.

Each nest is meticulously examined to ensure optimal conditions for hatching. This process not only aids in conservation but also provides valuable insights into the health of the crocodile population. Despite the challenges faced by young crocodiles, including predators and natural hazards, the park's efforts contribute to the species' preservation.

Recently, the park hosted an event for content creators to raise awareness about crocodile conservation, coinciding with World Crocodile Day. Such initiatives underscore the park's commitment to education and conservation, promoting the importance of protecting these ancient creatures.

Dubai Crocodile Park continues to be a beacon of conservation in the region, offering both entertainment and education to visitors throughout the year. For families looking to explore nature and learn about wildlife conservation, the park remains a top destination this summer.
