The UAE has once again cemented its position as a global innovation leader by entering the Guinness World Records for unveiling the world’s largest transparent interactive screen.
Spanning an impressive 12.567 square metres, the groundbreaking display was revealed at the Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition, showcasing the country’s technological prowess in crisis preparedness.
The record-setting achievement was spearheaded by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), highlighting the UAE’s dedication to embracing cutting-edge solutions in emergency management. The Guinness World Records Official Certificate was presented to Ali Rashid Al Neyadi, Director-General of NCEMA, by Hanane Spiers, Official Adjudicator for the MENA region.
Commenting on the occasion, Al Neyadi stated,
“We have learned from our wise leadership to always strive for number one, to shape the future with our own hands, making the UAE a model for others to follow. We are proud to dedicate this achievement to our leadership, to the people of the UAE, and to everyone who calls this country home.”
He added that this milestone reflects NCEMA’s ongoing mission to integrate advanced technologies and forward-thinking innovations into its operations, enhancing national readiness and public engagement in times of crisis.
The interactive screen, a marvel of smart glass and AI technology, features a holographic display with motion-sensing capabilities. Visitors can interact using simple hand gestures, resulting in an immersive experience that blends futuristic visuals with real-time engagement.
This world-first installation not only redefines how crisis management content is delivered but also reinforces the UAE’s commitment to technological advancement and innovation on a global stage.
