The UAE is set to reinforce its status as a leading global hub for business tourism and conferences with an array of high-profile events scheduled for February 2025.
These gatherings will attract international participation and showcase advancements across various sectors, including defence, aviation, governance, and entrepreneurship.
IDEX and NAVDEX 2025
The International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) will take place from 17th to 21st February at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The exhibitions will highlight cutting-edge solutions across 17 key defence sectors, including land, air, unmanned, and maritime technologies, reflecting advancements in smart mobility and autonomous operations.
ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) 2025
Abu Dhabi will also host the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) from 10th to 12th February. Organised by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the event will feature an exhibition and the inaugural Global Sustainable Aviation Marketplace (GSAM), with over 1,500 participants expected.
World Governments Summit 2025
Dubai will host the 12th edition of the World Governments Summit from 11th to 13th February, featuring over 30 heads of state, 80 international organisations, and 6,000 participants. The summit will cover global trends through 21 forums, 200 sessions, and strategic reports.
Other Major Events
The UAE will also welcome AEEDC Dubai 2025 (4th-6th February), the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (1st-2nd February), the Xposure International Photography Festival (20th-26th February), and Sharjah Heritage Days (12th-23rd February). Each event will attract global experts and attendees, further cementing the UAE’s role as a centre for innovation and cultural exchange.
