The UAE Food & Beverage Business Group (F&B Group), in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy and the Dubai Chamber, is set to host the Future Food Forum 2024 on October 2 and 3.
This premier event, now in its sixth year, aims to establish the UAE as a global leader in food innovation and sustainability.
The Forum will bring together key stakeholders from the food and beverage industry, government officials, and academic experts to discuss cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices that will shape the future of food production. With the GCC food and beverage market projected to reach a value of US$128.2 billion by 2029, this year’s theme, “Future Consumer, Future Government, and Future Food,” emphasizes the UAE's ongoing cluster strategy, which was launched last year by UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri.
The event will also introduce the “Foodverse,” a metaverse-based platform designed to enhance B2B interactions and networking opportunities within the sector.
Saleh Lootah, Chairman of the F&B Group, highlighted the Forum’s role in fostering collaboration across public and private sectors to bolster the food industry’s contribution to the UAE's GDP and increase Emirati participation.
Additionally, the Forum will feature the 'Free From Food Dubai' exhibition, showcasing innovations in organic, vegan, and functional food products. This initiative aligns with the UAE’s goal to address the growing demand for sustainable and innovative food solutions, ultimately driving transformative change in the regional food system.
As the Forum approaches, it promises to redefine practices within the food and beverage sector while facilitating vital dialogues for future advancements.
