Abu Dhabi is set to become the epicenter of global media innovation as the National Media Office (NMO) unveils the BRIDGE Summit, a transformative event scheduled from 8th to 10th December 2025.

Announced in Washington, DC, the initiative aims to lead the evolution of the media industry, foster international collaboration, and support responsible journalism in the digital age.

The summit, spearheaded by Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of NMO and the UAE Media Council, will attract heads of state, CEOs, and over 2,000 media professionals from around the world. It will feature a high-profile media production exhibition showcasing leading international companies, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a hub for media innovation.

A key highlight of the initiative is the launch of the BRIDGE Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering future media professionals through training programs, research grants, and startup support. This aligns with the UAE’s commitment to shaping a sustainable and impactful media ecosystem.

"The future of media is not to be awaited but to be shaped,"

Al Hamed stated, emphasizing that BRIDGE will serve as a global platform for dialogue, innovation, and transformation. The summit seeks to redefine media’s role in economic, social, and cultural development while unlocking investment opportunities in the sector.

Set to become the largest and most influential media event in the world, BRIDGE 2025 will not only anticipate future trends but actively shape them, positioning Abu Dhabi at the forefront of global media leadership.
