The UAE Verify platform has issued more than 30.72 million Digital Trusted Documents since its launch in mid-January 2022, marking a major milestone in the country’s push toward secure, paperless government services.
Affiliated with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, the blockchain-based platform enables instant verification of official documents for government entities, private sector organisations, and individuals. The system removes the need for physical paperwork or notarised copies, significantly reducing processing time and administrative complexity.
Since going live, UAE Verify has verified around 948,000 documents across 66 Digital Trusted Document Types. These documents are issued by 25 federal and local government entities, reflecting broad institutional adoption and cross-government integration.
The platform operates on a decentralised and encrypted digital ledger, which strengthens data protection and enhances information security. By using blockchain technology, UAE Verify ensures document authenticity while safeguarding user privacy, a critical requirement in digital government ecosystems.
Beyond security, the system supports more efficient workflows across sectors by allowing documents to be validated in real time. This capability benefits employers, educational institutions, service providers, and individuals who rely on fast and reliable verification of official records.
UAE Verify forms part of the wider national digital transformation agenda, aimed at improving service delivery, reducing reliance on paper-based processes, and strengthening trust in digital transactions. Its continued expansion highlights the UAE’s commitment to advanced digital infrastructure and innovation-led governance.
