The United Arab Emirates has welcomed the landmark agreement between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan to establish a tri-national border connection point, along with the signing of the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship.
Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, UAE Minister of State, expressed optimism that this agreement will strengthen regional cooperation, drive development in Central Asia, and contribute to broader international peace and stability.
Al Sayegh also emphasized the UAE’s deep-rooted ties with the three nations and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to supporting their efforts in fostering peace and progress. He stressed that diplomatic dialogue remains the most effective path to resolving disputes and ensuring lasting stability.
This agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening intergovernmental relations in Central Asia, promoting economic collaboration, and enhancing security across shared borders.
