The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that the fieldwork phase of the National Health and Nutrition Survey 2024-2025 will conclude by the end of March.
Conducted in collaboration with the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre, local health authorities, and statistical agencies, the survey will undergo rigorous data validation and analysis to ensure accuracy.
Designed to support the UAE’s 2030 Sustainable Development goals, the survey provides crucial insights to enhance national health planning and policies. Managed by expert teams using advanced technologies and international best practices, the project ensures precision and efficiency in data collection.
The survey aims to update the country’s health and nutrition database, measure key performance indicators, and inform policies that improve healthcare services. The findings will also be shared with global organisations, including the World Health Organisation, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to transparent, data-driven healthcare strategies.
MoHAP will publish the results on its open data platform, making them accessible to healthcare institutions and the public to enhance health awareness. Leveraging cutting-edge statistical methodologies, the Ministry will assess chronic diseases, nutritional trends, and lifestyle habits to identify emerging health challenges.
Additionally, the Ministry will compare current data with previous national health surveys and benchmark the UAE’s health indicators against those of other countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region. Through strategic partnerships and data-sharing initiatives, MoHAP aims to maximise the survey’s impact, ensuring a progressive and sustainable healthcare system aligned with the nation’s aspirations.
