Emarat EV Charging Stations Company (UAEV) has signed a new partnership with Autel Digital Power that aims to accelerate the UAE’s shift toward smarter, more resilient electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

The agreement sets the stage for next-generation technologies designed to boost efficiency, reliability, and long-term sustainability across the country.

The Memorandum of Understanding was formalised during a UAEV visit to Autel’s global headquarters in Shenzhen. Both sides will now collaborate on research, pilot programmes, and solutions tailored to the UAE’s climate and mobility needs.

The partnership focuses on emerging technologies including Vehicle-to-Grid interaction, integrated battery-energy storage systems, and intelligent charging platforms. These innovations are expected to support the growth of UAEV’s expanding national charging network and ensure high performance even in extreme temperatures.

Autel brings expertise in DC fast-charging systems that operate above 55°C, along with advanced remote-maintenance tools and ongoing research in cloud optimisation and AI-driven diagnostics. Combined with UAEV’s nationwide rollout, the collaboration aims to deliver a smarter and more adaptive charging ecosystem.

UAEV CEO Ali Al Darwish said the agreement marks a major step toward advancing the country’s next generation of smart-charging and energy-management solutions. Melody, Vice President at Autel, said the company is committed to supporting the UAE’s vision with reliable, high-efficiency technologies.

As demand for electric mobility grows, UAEV continues to expand coverage across all seven emirates and plans to install more than 1,000 high-speed DC chargers by 2030, supporting the UAE’s wider clean-energy goals.
