With the school year in full swing, Uber, in partnership with Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), has introduced Uber School—a convenient and affordable transport solution designed for students aged 8 and above. Integrated into Uber Teens accounts, this new service simplifies daily commutes, offering families a safe, flexible, and cost-effective way to navigate school schedules.
A Smarter Way to Commute
Uber School operates exclusively between 6 AM and 6 PM, aligning with regular school hours and extracurricular activities. The service includes:
- Up to 35% savings on daily transport costs when booking 10 or more trips per week.
- Real-time ride tracking, allowing parents to monitor every journey.
- Enhanced safety features, including PIN verification, driver and vehicle details, and optional audio recording for additional security.

How to Sign Up for Uber School
- Set up an Uber Teen account via the Uber app by navigating to Account > Family and Teens > Invite Child.
- The student completes a mandatory safety onboarding process.
- To activate Uber School, parents fill out a registration form.
- Once approved, Uber School rides can be requested through the Uber app.
