The Ripe Market, Dubai’s beloved weekend destination, is excited to announce the reopening of its annual Academy Park on October 12th and 13th, 2024. In partnership with Dubai Police, the market promises action-packed weekends for families every Saturday and Sunday until May 2025, offering unforgettable experiences for all ages.
This year, The Ripe Market introduces new concepts and exciting activations that will support more SMEs and offer the community an enhanced shopping and entertainment experience. Expect live broadcasts from Dubai 92, a new dining experience from SALT, a free fitness hub as part of Dubai 30x30, an E-Karting track, and more.
The Ripe Market has something for everyone, from live music, fitness classes, and educational activities to a variety of homegrown food vendors and retail sellers. Kids will enjoy horse riding, a petting zoo, and engaging workshops each week. The newly revamped Just Play Sports Facility features a fitness center, tennis, padel, and football courts open daily, while the Padel Park offers shaded courts and wellness classes. Al Jiyad Stables introduces daily horse-riding lessons, and the adventure-packed E-Karting track, zip line, skate park, Digger Lab, and Cuckoos Train Tour guarantee fun for all ages.
Other highlights include Go with the Flow, an interactive road safety initiative by the RTA, and the Air Maniax inflatable assault course. For young adventurers, Fit Kidz UAE offers a fun boot camp to build athletic skills. Families can unwind at the outdoor cinema, which screens movies every weekend.
Visitors can also explore over 100 local artisans, enjoy dining options from SALT, Sushi Ko, and eco-conscious Sandersons Café, and shop for handmade crafts, organic products, and unique home décor. The market features over 30 culinary delights and a host of family activities, including live music, face painting, train rides, and a pop-up cinema.
