VeraViews to Establish Global Headquarters in Dubai under UAE's NextGen FDI Initiative

The Ministry of Economy has announced that VeraViews, a groundbreaking digital advertising platform, will be incorporated in the UAE as part of the NextGen FDI initiative.

VeraViews, known for its innovative use of distributed ledger technology, aims to revolutionize digital advertising with its proprietary Proof of View technology, which verifies advertising views and combats the spread of harmful content and fraudulent activities within the media supply chain.

Currently in beta testing, VeraViews will set up its global headquarters in Dubai's Media City. This move aligns with the UAE’s efforts to regulate a complex advertising landscape, ensuring that marketing budgets are directed towards verifiable audiences through accredited agencies and publishers. The company's blockchain-powered platform is designed to enhance transparency and security in the advertising sector, contributing to the creation of one of the world's safest digital advertising ecosystems.

Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, emphasized the significance of welcoming cutting-edge companies through the NextGen FDI initiative. He highlighted VeraViews' potential to transform the media sector by creating a transparent and trustworthy advertising environment, ensuring that every dollar spent translates into tangible value.

VeraViews CEO Mark Firth expressed confidence in the UAE as an ideal location for their headquarters, citing the country’s dynamic media industry. He praised the NextGen FDI programme for its support and looks forward to collaborating with UAE stakeholders to foster a more secure and effective advertising ecosystem.

With the global digital advertising market valued at over $550 billion, and the Middle East's advertising sector projected to reach $6.9 billion by the end of 2024, VeraViews is poised to make a significant impact in one of the fastest-growing regions in the industry.
