Dubai is set to welcome the world’s energy and sustainability leaders as the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) opens tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the exhibition will run from 30 September to 2 October.

WETEX has grown into one of the world’s largest specialised platforms, spotlighting innovation in clean energy, water, decarbonisation, green mobility, sustainable cities, green hydrogen, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

This year’s edition brings together 3,100 companies from 68 countries across an exhibition space of 95,000 square metres. Eighteen international pavilions will showcase advancements, with dedicated zones such as the Green Mobility Zone, the Health and Safety Hub, and the Delegation Zone, designed to strengthen collaboration between local and international stakeholders.

Beyond exhibitions, WETEX will serve as a hub for dialogue, hosting business-to-business and business-to-government meetings to connect companies, institutions, and investors. More than 135 specialised seminars and panel discussions will also take place, featuring global experts and industry specialists.

As part of the programme, DEWA will offer exhibitors exclusive tours of its Sustainability and Innovation Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, further underscoring Dubai’s commitment to advancing renewable energy and sustainability on a global scale.
