Wio Bank is accelerating its push toward smarter, tech-driven banking through key partnerships announced during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai.
CEO Jayesh Patel said the bank’s participation in the global technology event underscores its commitment to advancing digital innovation and building collaborations that enhance customer experience across personal and corporate banking.
Patel described GITEX Global as a vital platform for exploring emerging technologies and fostering cooperation between the public and private sectors. He noted that the UAE continues to position itself as a leader in digital transformation, with initiatives that benefit both consumers and society.
Patel revealed that Wio Bank has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with the “TAMM” App, one of the UAE’s major digital service platforms. The partnership will allow customers to open accounts using artificial intelligence and access a wide range of banking services directly through the app, including viewing balances and transactions.
In another key development, Wio Bank has entered into a cooperation agreement with Alibaba Cloud to build local AI capabilities using advanced cloud infrastructure. This initiative aims to help customers make more informed financial decisions and further enhance the bank’s digital ecosystem.
Patel said the bank’s involvement in GITEX reflects its drive to learn from the latest technology trends while pursuing collaborations that bring greater innovation and convenience to its growing customer base.
