As the 2022 World Cup in Qatar united the world to the Middle East, nearly 2000 global business executives and investors attended the World Corporate Summit in Dubai to share in the vision of improving the world through business.

Held in Dubai from 21st November until 15th December 2022 at the Palace Downtown Hotel, this record-breaking mega summit, supported by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, presented a unique opportunity for business leaders to exchanging ideas and building partnerships with over 100 roundtables, 20 networking sessions.

From deliberating on a future-proof workforce with the skills needed for economic and social growth to addressing climate change to focusing on agritech to solve the global food crisis and exploring future technologies from artificial intelligence to Web3, the summit took a 360-degree view at ways to improve the world economy.

The World Corporate Summit and the Ministry of Economy of the UAE’s Investopia platform conducted a special session: "The Future of Investment in Sports", attended by 200 global leaders in sports and finance, such as Javier Tebas, President of La Liga and 40 La Liga football clubs, Paolo Scaroni, Chairman of AC Milan, major financiers from Mubadala to Fosun and Barclays Bank, and Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia.

“For the first time in the world, a high-level summit has lasted four consecutive weeks with such a high caliber of speakers, moderators and participants, producing innovative ideas and concrete action that will be the engine of change and economic development and will be built on at next year’s summit and beyond as the UAE enhances its legacy as a nucleus of growth and innovation.”

The summit closed with an awards ceremony in partnership with Huawei AppGallery honouring exceptional leaders in their fields, including Chalhoub Group - Retailer of the Year, Virgin Mobile - Innovative Company of the Year, PHD MENA - Media and Advertising Company of the Year, Laila Rahhal El Atfani – Woman in Tech of the Year, ORO24 – Real Estate Developer of the Year, Therme Group - Health & Wellness Company of the Year, koloXo – E-Commerce of the Year, Gulf Business – Business Media of the Year, Century Financial – Investment Company of the Year, Immersion4 – Sustainable Company of the Year, Amrita Sethi – Woman in Web3 of the Year, JinglePay – Fintech of the Year, Glenwood Equity – Real Estate Investment Company of the Year, and many more.
