World Health Expo (WHX) in Dubai will take a major step in 2026, moving to the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai to expand its global platform and enhance the experience for healthcare professionals.

The event, formerly known as Arab Health, will be held from 9–12 February, marking the first time it takes place outside the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The relocation adds 11,343 square metres to the exhibition space, bringing the total to 74,402 square metres. This will allow for a broader showcase of health technology, cross-sector collaboration, and educational content. Expo City Dubai will provide complementary spaces for networking, hospitality, and informal meetings, set amid cultural venues, restaurants, and cutting-edge design.

Sholto Douglas-Home, Chief Sales & Marcomms Officer at Expo City Dubai, highlighted the partnership’s goal to create new platforms for the global healthcare community to connect, showcase, and collaborate. Solenne Singer, Senior Vice President at Informa Markets, said the move reflects WHX’s growth and the rising global demand for a more immersive, diverse event experience.

The 2026 edition will host over 4,300 exhibitors and attract more than 235,000 professional visits. It will feature six CME-accredited conferences, four certified bootcamps, and three dedicated stages—Future X, Frontiers, and Visionary—designed to inspire insights and drive transformative collaboration.

The partnership also emphasizes sustainability and inclusivity. Expo City Dubai offers wheelchair accessibility, braille signage, mobility services, and environmentally conscious infrastructure. Many venues, including Al Wasl Plaza and the Connect Conference Centre, hold ISO 20121:2024 certification for sustainable event management.

WHX in Dubai will run alongside WHX Labs in Dubai, formerly Medlab Middle East, creating a city-wide experience across two landmark venues. Together, the co-timed events are expected to attract over 270,000 professional visits and 4,800 exhibitors, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global healthcare hub under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention.
