The World Sports Summit has appointed OMNIYAT as the official partner of its inaugural edition, marking a significant collaboration ahead of the global sports gathering scheduled for 29 and 30 December 2025 at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
Held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, the summit will take place under the theme Uniting the World Through Sport. The event is organised by the Dubai Sports Council and aims to position Dubai at the centre of global sports dialogue and leadership.
The partnership agreement was signed in the presence of His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, and Mahdi Amjad, Founder and Chairman of the OMNIYAT Group. The agreement was formalised by Eisa Sharif Al Marzooqi, Lead of the World Sports Summit, and Peter Stephenson, Co-Managing Director of OMNIYAT.
Organisers described the partnership as a strategic step in building an integrated ecosystem that connects sport with urban innovation, wellbeing, and long-term social impact. OMNIYAT’s involvement reflects a shared focus on collaboration, active lifestyles, and reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global hub for sport and leadership.
The World Sports Summit is set to be the largest gathering of its kind, bringing together senior decision-makers, athletes, investors, and innovators from across the international sports industry. The inaugural edition will feature more than 70 global speakers and sports legends, with additional participants to be announced closer to the event.
