22nd Arab Media Forum Kicks Off in Dubai
The 22nd Arab Media Forum, under Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's patronage, begins on May 28 at Dubai World Trade Centre, part of the Arab Media Summit 2024.
Over 4,000 leaders will discuss media's future in 110 sessions covering politics, economy, tech, culture, and media's evolving role.

Key speakers during the forum include His Excellency Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, Prime Minister of Yemen; His Excellency Jasem Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf; His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture of Kuwait; His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President, and His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.
The Arab Media Forum hosts industry titans like Pavel Durov (Telegram, VKontakte), journalist David Patrikarakos, and Emily Ross from X. Bassem Youssef joins to discuss his media journey, while Ross focuses on AI's impact on content and creativity in a 20-minute talk.
The Arab Media Forum's first day showcases the Arab Media Award honoring excellence in media. The second day highlights the Arab Social Media Influencers Award. New initiatives target youth empowerment, including reports on media trends and a creative sector program. The event also features sessions led by Emirati media pioneers.
