Integrated Business Platform offering investment opportunities to nationals in residential districts.
In the implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council cum Chairman of the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs, the committee launched an initiative entitled 'Investment Opportunities' along with an Integrated Business Platform for nationals. It offers 500 investment opportunities in the neighbourhood and residential districts of nationals and different parts of Dubai.
His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, General Commissioner for Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Wellbeing Pillar, said,
“The launch of investment opportunities within the residential districts of citizens is a manifestation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It also echoes the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council cum Chairman of the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs. Such directives call for accelerating the development and wellbeing of citizens in Dubai, offering opportunities for youth to grow, and achieving economic diversity besides driving the comprehensive development in the emirate under a strategy focused on social and family stability.”
“The opportunities cover several residential districts in Dubai and include commercial outlets, seasonal cafes, camel and horse-riding activities, and electric car rentals. seasonal investment opportunities will be offered in seasonal markets such as the Farmers' Souq and Souq Al Freej such as kiosks for retail activities, handicrafts, clothes, fabrics, spices, honey, dates, restaurants, and snacks. Also included are open spaces for sports projects such as football and basketball courts, youth activities, horseback riding, jogging races, entertainment and play areas,”

Wellbeing of Nationals
His Excellency Dawood Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said,
“The Investment Projects Platform for nationals in Dubai presents a significant opportunity to support the economic and social development of the emirate. This reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to continue working to improve the quality of life and welfare of Emirati citizens and provide them access to the highest standards of living. The initiative also offers investment opportunities for the youth in line with the strategic and civil development goals of the emirate of Dubai, aimed at enhancing its future growth.
“Dubai Municipality is keen to work with various governmental organisations and partners to support all programmes and activities that help achieve the vision of His Highness. In this endeavour, the Municipality launched the Farmers' Souq initiative, which aims to bring Emirati farmers together in one place, where they can sell their agricultural and local goods directly to consumers. The Municipality also introduced the Souq Al Freej programme, which aims to encourage and open up investment prospects for Emirati SME owners by showcasing and promoting their homemade products, further enhancing Dubai's leading position and attractiveness.”

Nationals Integrated Business Platform
The National Integrated Business Platform, https://nibp.hidubai.com/en will contribute to showcasing the investment prospects available for citizens, supporting projects and guiding entrepreneurs through the seasonal markets. Upon completion, the project will be assessed, and permanent licenses will be issued for successful projects.
The platform lists all investment opportunities for citizens and the possibility of applying for using them and sets the registration for seasonal markets as well as support and counselling services.
Process
The initiative sets out a process for utilising permanent and seasonal investment opportunities by citizens in coordination with the Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Municipality. It also calls for marketing those opportunities through the Integrated Business Platform. As regards the permanent opportunities, the platform will be developed and necessary licenses will be issued.
